The same way when you are going to pick-up your child early for appointments, or and will return later in the day.

Please write the time and sign your name in dropping off and picking up your child. Be notified that only the parents or the person listed on the child’s record is authorized to pick-up your child. Photo identification may be required if the person to pick-up is not known by the daycare personnel.

For safety and health reasons, please keep your child at home if he/she is sick. (Has fever, cough & cold, diarrhea, rashes, or needs one on one care and attention.) Your child may return to the daycare after 24 hours of not having fever without taking any medicine. If the child has been contacted with contagious illness, a doctor’s release is required. Please inform the Daycare if your child is taking medication. I will administer medication provided there’s a written request. Medication must be labeled with child’s name, dosage, and time to administer. In case your child got sick while at the daycare, you’ll be contacted soon to pick him/her up. Please give & don’t forget to UPDATE the Daycare the best contact number to reach you.

Northridge Family Daycare is serving (4) meals a day. Breakfast, AM snack, Lunch, & PM Snack. Our goal is to provide children with complete components of healthy and nutritious food. Vegetable and fruits are served every meal. If your child has any food or substance allergies, please alert the daycare. If you are giving breast milk for your infant, label it with his/her name and the date it was expressed.

Enrollment forms and immunization records must be turned in prior to or upon acceptance of your child. Please UPDATE the Daycare of your child’s immunization record.

It is imperative to ALWAYS update the Daycare of your child’s Medical Insurance provider. The parents are contacted when children get sick. But in case we cannot get hold of you, we may call your child’s physician, or if necessary bring your child to his/her doctor. Parents/Guardians are responsible for all medical bills incurred.

Parents are responsible to bring diapers, wipes personal creams, sunblock, sleeping bag (for Toddlers) and extra clothes for their children. Please remember to label your child’s belongings. If you wish to bring food, please make sure that there’s enough for every child to share. And label the ingredients for some children may have substance allergies.

The Daycare has adequate selection of toys that support the children’s learning interest. Please keep your child’s favorite toy at home. On Fridays, your child may bring a toy for sharing day. Their toys are going to be a point of “Show & tell” during circle time and hopefully share with their friends later at play. Label, label with their name, please.

Fire and Earthquake drills are conducted every 2nd Wednesday of the month. In the event of fire or other emergency where we have to evacuate, we will assemble and wait for the parents at the Northridge Park. In the event of earthquake, we will assemble at the ground of the Thomas Edison Elementary located at 1267 Southgate Ave, Daly City. Please always update your best contact number.
